Having previously been at number 75 high street. Coincidentally we were in the Walthamstow market as a street trader in the 90s more or less almost outside our present shop. we had also traded in Dalston, Brixton, and tooting always selling fabric.
The aim of our shop was to provide an ambiance worthy of fabrics and customers. The business has always had a bias towards more natural fabrics such as cotton and linen.
Whether you are in to dressmaking or patchwork quilting, at our store, we carry almost every type of fabric you can think of and we are continuously adding new ranges every month for you to enjoy! we also have 1000’s of clearance lines to tempt you! Our fantastic value-for-money clearance fabrics are sourced from designers and fabric houses all over the world which are all ‘one-offs’ and means we can bring them to you at hugely discounted prices from the original RRP’s. Don’t delay though, the nature of our clearance ranges means that once they’re gone, they’re gone! We hope that the beautiful range of fabrics we offer will inspire everyone to create something that’s unique to you, whether that’s for your wardrobe or to adorn your home.
The store provides fabrics for both clothing and soft furnishings, the majority of which are on a regular and repeatable basis. The clothing range includes a selection of natural fabrics ie cotton, linen, and silk. The store also provides a large range of colors in canvas, denim, felt, and leatherette.’

Great shop with a brilliant selection of fabrics.. bought a lovely linen curtain fabric with a nice vintage style pattern for a bargain price. Good for curtain or dressmaking fabric
Amazing selection of quality fabrics. Went to every other fabric shop on the High street east of this one looking for good quality upholstery fabrics and literally only one other shop had another tapestry/woven fabrics (and they only had 2). This shop is the best... they had a whole wall of beautiful woven fabrics to choose from. Also have really long rolls (1.5m) so 1m cuts go way farther, and you can cut in quarter metres. Affordable prices... I literally wouldn't waste my time anywhere else in Walthamstow.
In all honesty the best fabric shop in London. High quality fabrics and at a fair price. You won't be disappointed.
Bought some beautiful cottons here, reasonably priced and staff were super helpful. Made a quilt for my grandson. I love the huge range of fabric they have. Will definitely be getting more.
I visited this shop on a friend's recommendation as she is a fashion designer and comes here often. I was looking for some curtain material and they had some amazing fabrics at a fraction of the cost of what John Lewis sells them for. I was impressed with the variety and quality of the fabrics and the shop itself is a fantastic design in itself. They were very helpful and told me how much I would need as I was going to buy too much. Now I have my fabric I can't wait to see what my curtains will look like when they are finished.
Needed some fabric for my old sofas that required recovering. My upholsterer quoted me some silly prices but thankfully found this Aladdin's cave of a shop in walthamstow market. I didn't really understand too much about the quality of the fabrics but the owner helped me enormously and I ended buying the most luxurious fabrics at a fraction of the cost and even my upholsterer was surprised at the prices.
Absolutely great customer service. They are attentive and know their stuff. They have great respect and care for the fabric they sell so you know you are always buying quality and well looked after fabrics. Thank you so much for your time and patience. A very happy customer. 🙂

The best place to get your fabrics.Quality, variety,Staff is super knowledgeable.It’s my most favorite fabric store in London.You can get some real gems for reasonable price.Get yourself over there is you make your own stuff.
Amazing fabric shop with a huge variety of fabric. I'm a huge fan of the fabulous printed cottons, the choice is amazing. Really fairly priced with friendly and helpful staff who really know what they are talking about. Always my first choice.
A wonderful discovery! A well curated selection of fabrics, the majority of which I have not seen in other bricks and mortar fabric shops. The staff were a pleasure to talk to and very helpful. From cotton and wool blends, indulgent tapestry fabrics, printed canvas, linen, cotton lawn and more. The shop is well laid out, piled high with choices, but, still with space to browse without having to constantly move bolts or rolls of fabric. The prices are very competitive, too. The stars are the fabrics and it is a must to visit. I will definitely return.
Impressively knowledgeable, excellent and timely delivery, good prices, genuine customer care.I got curtains made to measure: I chose the fabric, gave the measures, they listened to my needs, suggested me options, but made sure I was happy about my choice. They communicated clearly and delivered good finish timely. I am very happy with my curtains. I felt like shopping for a simple thing (even if curtains are not simple at all!) with my tailor grandpa, taking me through it while letting me choose what I wanted. Highly recommend.
Telephoned to place an order for some curtain lining and received such excellent service. Cut and wrapped and in the post within the hour. Tracking number and payment details forwarded to me straight away. Later the same day ordered another length and was given the same speedy and trouble free service.I have always found the fabrics at this store to be of exceptional quality and competitively priced . Would highly recommend it to everyone .
I am over the moon with my curtains. From start to finish the whole team have been so helpful. I was under such a tight deadline for a studio opening and the team pulled together and delivered my curtains to such a high standard and amazing quality. Saeed and the whole team were so helpful when I was looking for made to measure curtains for my new flat, helping with the whole process including measuring and fitting the curtains. The amount of different fabrics available was overwhelming but the finished product look absolutely great!

Saeeds Fabric is a great store with an array of fabrics, for those interested in fashion, tailoring and even upholstery. Saeed and the staff are always very helpful, and take a keen interest in your projects, offering great advice as to what fabrics will be best suited. I have been a customer for just under 10 years and can say the service has been consistently fantastic. I definitely recommend this store if you are based in east London and beyond. ??
